The public is invited to a meeting on the future of the Owen Sound harbourfront.
Manager of Economic Development and Tourism, Steve Furness says you have a chance to share your ideas on development of the Scenic City’s harbour and waterfront area.
The public meeting is set for 7 PM tonight at the Grey Bruce Health Unit in the lower classroom.
Furness says Harbour and waterfront development is an economic development priority for Owen Sound.
He says it is an important area of future development that continues to transform a former industrial area to a mixed use harbour.
Furness says the meeting is designed to generate new interest in our waterfront and to attract new investment.
He says the discussion could go from the Cobble Beach area, to the waterfront by the farmers market.
