Construction will soon begin on a 9 million dollar banquet hall behind Hanover Raceway.
Tenders for the project are going out and they plan to break ground in mid October.
Raceway Manager Gord Dougan says the two storey, 36 thousand square foot facility is one of a kind for the region.
Architect Wayne Barrett says the Hall itself will be made up of three banquet halls that can be converted into one large hall, and will have a number of unique features including an glass observatory tower and VIP dining area.
Hanover Chief Building Official Don Tedford says ever since Hanover demolished the old arena, the town has been lacking a banquet hall.
The entire project should wrap up in mid November of 2012.
