We now know who is buying the Owen Sound Golf and Country club.
BDO Canada limited says Kinsale Investments Limited is the successful purchaser of the assets of the Golf Club.
The companys’ local representative is Kevin OBrien.
O’Brien was not available when Bayshore Broadcasting News tried to contact him at his home in the Markdale area.
The Receiver will be appearing in Court the week of October 10th, and BDO Canada Vice President Bill Courage says the transaction will close during the following week.
The final date of operation for the 2011 golf season will be determined by Kinsale.
No word in the news release, what Kinsale investments plans to do with the course after this season.
The 91 year old Owen Sound Golf and Country Club went into receivership in July with 1.1 million dollars owed to the Bank of Montreal.
The volunteer board of directors resigned at that time.
