When we go to the polls on October 6th we’ll be among four provinces holding elections within the space of eight days.
Huron Bruce Conservative MP Ben Lobb says the Harper government pledges to work with Ontario and the other provinces no matter which party is voted into power at the provincial level.
He says all MPs believe it’s important to co-operate with the provinces in maintaining economic growth especially in uncertain times.
Lobb tells us the economy is the priority issue especially at the local level.
The Canadian economy has created more than 600-thousand jobs in the past two years.
Lobb says even with downgraded growth forecasts our economy is moving in the right direction.
Voters in Prince Edward Island head to the polls on October 3rd.
Manitobans elect a provincial government on October 4th.
And the provincial election in Newfoundland and Labrador is set for October 11th.
