Motorcycles will be spread through Bruce and Grey Counties on Sunday for a good cause.
The Canadian Cancer Society is hosting the third annual B.E.A.T. Cancer Ride.
Fundraising Coordinator Jenn Wright says it’s been a successful ride the past couple of years, and the riders really enjoy the day.
She says it’s a mystery tour through the region, and the riders will get maps at four different checkpoints.
Wright says the riders come back each year because they enjoy the fall scenery and ride through the Beaver Valley while raising money for cancer research.
Wright is hopeful they will raise four thousand dollars this year.
The past two years combined has brought in seven thousand dollars.
You can still register for the ride at the Canadian Cancer Society’s office in Owen Sound, or you can show up on Sunday at 9 AM for registration at Boston Pizza in Owen Sound.
Wright encourages riders to collect pledges.
The fee for a rider is 25 dollars, and 15 dollars for a passenger.
The day starts at 9 AM, and the riders will meet up for dinner afterward.
