Some grocery shoppers in Saugeen Shores will be shopping for special products digitally at Your Independent Grocer.
Owner Marcel Legault says his store is one of only 20 outlets in the province that will be featuring a high-end Black Label product offering.
Legault says it’s a new President’s Choice line of products that brings with it some interesting features.
He says where the products are displayed, codes will be right at the shelf where Smart Phone users can key in the code and get additional information on the product.
Legault says there will be recipes and cooking times for instance.
Legault says there will be six different categories which fall under spreads, condiments, oil and vinegar, pasta and pasta sauces and confectionary products.
He says the Black Label line is a high-end product line that is imported from around the world.
Legault expects the unique display cases to be operational by the end of the month or early next month.
He says his store was one of the stores chosen because sales show shoppers in this market preferred a higher-end President’s Choice product.
