A vehicle pedestrian crash has left an Owen Sound teen in critical condition in a Hamilton hospital.
It happened about 12:30 AM on Sunday when the victim tried to cross Main street at Hess Village in downtown Hamilton.
Police say 19 year old Bob Underwood was hit by a car and tossed into the air.
The motorist stopped to help before police and paramedics arrived.
Underwood was rushed to Hamilton General Hospital with life-threatening injuries.
No charges have been laid in the incident and police are continuing to investigate.
Underwood is a graduate of Owen Sound Minor Hockey and a prominent lacrosse player who played with both the NorthStars & Woodsmen this year.
