A Wingham man charged with second-degree murder is in London court today for trial.
Ron Ward is charged in connection with the death of Scott Hayes in a Wingham parking lot in February of last year.
The 28 year old’s case was meant to begin in Goderich court today, but is being processed through London instead due to the tornado in August.
Ward was released on bail for a short time after the incident — but was put back behind bars after breaching the conditions of his bail earlier this year.
The trial is expected to continue for most of the week.
