Grey County OPP have charged a bride with assault, at her own wedding in Georgian Bluffs.
It happened back on September 3rd when the victim, an invited guest, went to the accused’s wedding.
Constable Alina Grelik says the woman was allegedly assaulted by the bride when she wouldn’t take part in the ceremony.
Apparently, the bride wanted the 51 year old woman to act as a master of ceremonies, but the victim had declined the offer, twice.
After the physical assault, the victim left the wedding and reported it to police.
She suffered minor injuries.
Grey County OPP charged the bride with assault and breach of recognizance over the weekend.
The 25 year old Wroxeter woman is to appear in Owen Sound Court on October 27th.
