The search is on for a suspect who eluded police in the Ripley area.
At about 3 PM on Thursday — South Bruce OPP tried to stop a pickup truck in the village.
The driver did stop, but then fled at a high rate of speed.
The OPP say the pick up truck was located in a cornfield along Concession 10, Huron Township and the driver had run-off on foot.
Members of OPP West Region Tactics and Rescue Unit, Emergency Response Team, Canine and Aviation Services were all called in to search for the suspect.
Despite all the searching by police, the suspect was not found.
South Bruce OPP are continuing their investigation.
