Leaf Alumni Brad May lacing up at the Rec Centre Hockey Challenge
(Owen Sound, ON) Just announced – Toronto Maple Leaf Alumni Brad May will be lacing up and joining the Rec Centre All-stars at the Rec Centre Hockey Challenge presented by Bruce Power on Saturday night. Organizers have been eagerly awaiting the announcement the Mystery Toronto Maple Leaf.
Brad May will be competing in season 3 of CBCs Battle of the Blades beginning September 18th. May played for the Leafs during the 2008-2009 hockey season. He is infamously known for a series clinching goal he scored for Buffalo in 1993 playoffs against Boston.
M.P. Larry Miller and his Conservative All-stars will face off against the Rec Centre All-stars in support of the Regional Recreation Centre. NHL alumni, MPs and local athletes, business people, media and high school students will all be hitting the ice at this family friendly event.
The Rec Centre Hockey Challenge presented by Bruce Power kicks off at 7:00 pm. Tickets are general admission and available at the door. Arrive early to get the best seats! Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for those 18 and under.

Organizers are also raffling off a custom designed, Curtis Sanford autographed goalie mask. Donated by Curtis Sanford and his family, tickets are only available at the game for $2 each.

Hockey Challenges Mystery Maple Leafs Player Announced
The Mystery Maple Leafs player lacing up in tomorrows Owen Sound Rec Centre Hockey Challenge presented by Bruce Power is Brad May.
May played 18 seasons and over 1,000 games in the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 14th overall by the Buffalo Sabres in the first round of the 1990 NHL Entry Draft. May played for the Toronto Maple Leafs from January 7, 2009 to September 23, 2009. During his career in the NHL, he also played for the Phoenix Coyotes, Vancouver Canucks, Colorado Avalanche, Anaheim Ducks, and the Detroit Red Wings. A highlight of Mays career was winning the Stanley Cup in 2007 with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks.

The proceeds from the game will be used to help fund the new Regional Recreation Centre.
