The Owen Sound North Grey Union Public Library is set to close for the next few weeks to undergo some carpet repairs.
Starting Wednesday — the Library will be closed until Friday, September 23rd.
Administrative and Public Services Manager Beth Hall says in addition to repairing the carpet — they must also move about 1400 books and shelves.
Hall says they plan to widen the book aisles to meet accessibility standards.
She says library members can still return books in the drop off bin during the closure, holds will not expire and there will be no additional late fees.
The Library’s adult learning centre will remain open during regular daytime hours, and can be accessed through the 8th Street West entrance.
