An independent candidate has started his election campaign in Bruce Grey Owen Sound.
Shane Jolley has officially launched his “Taking Responsibility” election campaign.
Jolley opened his campaign office at 939 2nd Avenue East in Owen Sound on Saturday.
Jolley says he will run a different campaign which respects the integrity of the voter and the pocketbook of the taxpayer.
Jolley is hoping to replace MPP Bill Murdoch at Queens Park after the October 6th vote.
He ran for the Green party in previous campaigns.
But Jolley decided to run as an independent because he says, party candidates too often put their parties’ concerns ahead of the needs of their constituents.
