The Grey Bruce Health Unit is trying to find the owner of two dogs involved in a biting incident in Walkerton.
Around Noon on Friday — a man and young boy approached two dogs being walked by a man on Durham Street East in Walkerton.
The boy tried to pat one of the dogs and was bitten by it.
The dogs are described as mixed breed, with one dog much larger than the other.
Staff of the Grey Bruce Health Unit need to confirm that the dog is not infectious with rabies.
By verifying the health of the dog, the victim can avoid receiving the post-exposure rabies treatment.
