The Bruce Grey Catholic School Board is ready for another busy school year.
Director of Education Bruce MacPherson says the 2011 -2012 school year holds a lot of promise.
He is particularly pleased with a Ministry promise to provide additional student support in the area of mental health and social work.
MacPherson notes they have a number of programs and resources in place to help students succeed.
The 1.5 million dollar addition at St. Basil’s school in Owen Sound is also complete.
The work included 3 new classrooms to help house the new full day learning kindergarten program.
St. Basil’s will offer 6 full day kindergarten programs this year.
MacPherson adds staff are returning refreshed and ready to take on the new school year.
