We don’t know yet who will be premier of Ontario after October 6th.
But we do know that he or she will be handing out the hardware in the Premier’s Award for Agri-Food Innovation Excellence program.
The program recognizes innovators who contribute to the success of Ontario’s agri-food sector.
There’s more than a shiny trophy involved.
Eligible applicants could receive:
a Premier’s Award of $75,000
a Minister’s Award of $50,000
And, new this year, one of three “Leaders in Innovation Awards” of $25,000 each.
Also new, 45 regional awards of $5,000 each.
Two independent panels made up of reps from across the province act as judges.
