A black bear was spotted in Mildmay.
South Bruce OPP were called Thursday after the animal was spotted along Absalom Street.
Officers from the Ministry of Natural Resources were not able to track it down.
Police remind you to call the OPP or MNR if you do see a bear — and do not approach the animal.
You are also reminded to remove potential food from your property — such as garbage — to keep bears away.
