South Bruce OPP say several swimmers had to be rescued at Station Beach in Kincardine.
On Wednesday just before 1 PM — a concerned citizen on the beach noticed the swimmers in trouble about 100 to 150 metres from shore.
After seeing that the adult female and three youths were in need of aid, two people swam out to help and all made in back to shore safely.
About two hours later on Wednesday — a catamaran capsize in Lake Huron off Kincardine.
The Canadian Coast Guard was able to attend the scene and coordinate rescue of the distressed operators.
South Bruce OPP say a kayaker also assisted in the rescue after seeing that the two vessel operators were in need of help.
All parties were brought to shore with no injuries.
