The Manager of Public Works for South Bruce Peninsula wants everyone to think water meters.
Phil Dwyer is urging all residents to call into a toll free number to book an appointment to get their meter installed.
Dwyer says the project is wrapping up quickly in Wiarton and already one-third of the meters in the Sauble-Amabel system have been installed.
Dwyer says it’s mandatory to have a water meter but there will be no charge to residents for the installation.
South Bruce Peninsula is borrowing money from reserves to cover the cost of the project.
Dwyer says they are taking appointments and installers are available Monday to Saturday as late as 8 at night.
