It’s being billed as Canada’s finest one day lineup of Country music this summer.
Music in the Fields is being held today in Lucknow.
The one day music festival — organized by the local Kinsmen Club — attracts music fans from across the province and even some from the United States.
The gates open at 11 o’clock and the first act — Snakebite — hits the stage at 1 o’clock.
This year’s lineup of talent also includes Blake Shelton, Lonestar, Jason McCoy, Jaydee Bixby and Victoria Banks.
Tickets are 90 dollars to see all eight acts.
The proceeds from the festival will go to various charitable and local organizations in the community as well as to the Kinsmen’s official charity, Cystic Fibrosis research.
