The United Way of Perth Huron is helping out the town of Goderich after Sunday’s deadly F3 Tornado.
Executive Director Ryan Erb says they’ve created the Goderich Tornado Relief Fund that anyone can donate to.
Erb says all the funds raised will directly benefit the town of Goderich, although some of the money may be shuffled to different member agencies to ensure everyone is looked after.
He says the United Way will create a new committee consisting of Goderich and Huron County residents, as well as people from Perth County.
Erb says the organization is with the residents of Goderich all the way and just want to help and support the residents who need it.
There are several ways to donate which are listed on their website at www.unitedwayperthhuron.ca
You can call 1-877-818-8867 or text UCARE to 45678 for a five dollar donation.
You can also call 2-1-1 to make a donation or donate an item to help victims of the tornado that claimed one life and injured nearly 40 people.
