Federal Liberal leader Bob Rae will be making an appearance in Collingwood tonight.
It is part of his Cross-Canada tour as he gathers your ideas for rebuilding the Party.
Rae will be in Collingwood tonight at the Legion at 6 PM.
This event costs 25 dollars, with tickets available at the door.
Rae was Ontario Premier from 1990 to 1995.
He was chosen as Interim Leader after Michael Ignatieff resigned in the aftermath of the election in May.
The historic vote dropped the Liberals to third-party status in the House of Commons for the first time in Canadian history.
The riding of Simcoe Grey is widely seen as a Conservative stronghold as the riding last elected a Liberal federally in 1997, when Paul Bonwick served two terms.
On Thursday — the interim Liberal leader will be at Harrison Park in Owen Sound at 9 AM for a free event.
Rae then moves to the Walkerton Legion at 1 PM for a free meet and greet with voters.
And at 4 PM on Thursday, Rae will go to Goderich to meet Mayor Deb Shewfelt and tour the devastation from Sundays’ tornado.
