Communities in Bruce and Grey Counties are offering support to Goderich in the aftermath of Sunday’s tornado.
Hanover has sent five firefighters and a police officer to Goderich to help with the aftermath of the tornado.
Mayor Kathi Maskell says the emergency workers have been on the scene since Sunday, right after the tornado hit.
She says Hanover will do all it can to help, saying if the shoe was on the other foot Goderich would so the same.
Maskell adds now is a time to pull together as a region to help out a fellow community in need.
West Grey has also offered support to Goderich through its fire department and public works departments.
It was two years ago on Saturday that a tornado hit West Grey and claimed the life of a young boy.
Bruce Power will have a fundraising collection at its gate on Thursday.
About 100 employees at the Tiverton nuclear plant call Goderich home.
