A 27 year old man is fighting for his life in hospital after being injured while diving from the rocks at the Grotto at Bruce Peninsula National Park.
Bruce Peninsula OPP were called about the incident just before 6 PM Sunday.
Upon arrival police learned the man had been jumping from the rock cliffs into Georgian Bay.
Police said after jumping in the water — the North York man surfaced, called for help and then went under.
He was assisted to shore where CPR was started.
The victim was airlifted to London’s Victoria Hospital with serious injuries.
Police estimate the man jumped from about 30 feet above the water.
The investigation is ongoing.
