Walkerton’s downtown has been transformed into a mini carnival today as it plays host to its annual Busker’s Festival.
Spokesperson Tim Nacelle says the Busker’s are sure to captivate crowds with their juggling, stilt walking, fire and magic acts.
Along with street performers — the Festival also includes dozens of other children’s.
There is a bouncy castle, face painting, a dinosaur dig, a cow milking challenge, a craft corner and adrenaline rush inflatable obstacle course, body art, balloon toss and a squirt gun blast to name a few.
Shows include the Reptile Party at 11 AM, The Fire Skateboard Show at 12:15 PM, Punk the Magician at 1:30 PM and Lash the Clown 2:45 PM.
Horse drawn wagon rides will also be available for those wanting to take a scenic journey around Walkerton’s downtown.
Admission is just 2 dollars per child, adults are free.
Admission covers everything including festival food such as make your own sundae’S, candy floss and popcorn.
Nacelle says this is Walkerton’s biggest event of the year, organizers are expecting crowds of up to five thousand people.
