The interim federal Liberal leader will be at Harrison Park in Owen Sound on Thursday August 25th.
It’s part of Bob Rae’s cross Canada tour as he looks for ways to make the once mighty red machine relevant again.
The Bruce Grey Owen Sound Federal Liberal Association says in a news release that Rae will make a short speech.
But he primarily wants to hear from residents about their challenges and opportunities.
Rae became interim leader after former Liberal leader Michael Ignatieff resigned on May 3rd — the day after the Liberals lost 43 seats in the Commons.
