A date is set for the NDP nomination meeting for the provincial election in Huron-Bruce.
The New Democratic Party is marking their 50th year in Canada and Huron-Bruce.
Leader Andrea Horwath will be on hand as the Huron-Bruce chapter nominates their candidate in Brussels for the October provincial election.
So far, Grant Robertson is the only declared candidate.
Party faithful will gather at the Legion Brussels on August 20th at 4 PM for the nomination meeting.
Brussels is the hometown of the first ever NDP candidate for Huron-Bruce — J. Carl Hemingway, who ran in 1962.
