A visitor to our region remains in hospital with chest injuries after falling from a cliff at Inglis Falls.
Grey County OPP, the Intertownship Fire department and Grey County EMS rushed to the tourist spot around 2 PM on Sunday after hearing a man fell 20 meters off a cliff.
Police say a 64 year old man from Windsor was hiking on a trail with his wife and another couple — and lost his footing while peering over the cliff.
Police and firefighters repelled down the cliff to rescue the unidentified man.
He was airlifted to St. Michael’s hospital in Toronto.
We now have been told the man is in stable condition in hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Grey County OPP continue to investigate.
