Habitat for Humanity is now offering a kitchen and bathroom salvage program.
Director of Re-Store Development Grey Bruce Carol Potter says their experienced volunteers will dismantle and remove your old kitchen at no charge.
Potter says it’s a little more difficult to salvage bathroom materials but says they try to save what they can.
She notes you could save up to 700 dollars when you figure in removal and disposal costs.
Potter says trained experts come into your house, do an assessment and set a demolition date.
Potter adds the program is a great way to divert materials from ending up in the landfill.
