A two year old boy is in critical condition following a farm accident in Grey Highlands.
The two year old boy was struck by a skid steer at his residence on Concession 3 around 8 PM on Monday.
Grey County OPP tell us the boy’s father was operating a skid steer when he noticed his son playing in the area.
He picked the boy up and moved him away from the area.
The father then continued to operate the skid steer — but unbeknownst to him — the boy had returned and he was struck while he was reversing.
The father immediately carried the injured boy to the residence and called 911.
He was transported to Markdale Hospital then air lifted to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto where he remains in critical but stable condition.
The Farm Accident Board was notified.
