The Durham Curling Club has received 60 thousand dollars from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
The club is going to use the money to replace the rink piping and insulation.
Officials say the upgrades will create a better quality ice surface for play and also ensure the community facility will offer curling for years to come.
The Durham Curling Club was established in 1962.
The club offers curling in the winter, and is available for rental for dances, weddings and parties.
