The summer-time “Hats Off Country Tribute Series” at the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound kicks off tonight.
It is a partnership between Bayshore Broadcasting and The Roxy Theatre to bring a new music series to the Scenic City this summer.
The First Show in the Series is a Tribute to Brooks and Dunn, starring Hard Workin Men.
Brooks and Dunn recorded over twenty number one country hits throughout their career.
Hard Workin Men, a show stopping seven piece band, will have the crowd up on their feet with over two hours of those classic hits.
The show is at 7 PM in the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound.
The series continues on Thursday, August 11th at 7 PM with Sweet Dreams, A Tribute to Patsy Cline starring Leisa Way and the Wayward Wind.
The series closes with a locally developed tribute show to the legendary Johnny Cash on Thursday, September 22nd.
Local musicians will walk the line for some coveted time on the Roxys stage for this creative tribute to the man in black.
From traditional country to blues, rock n roll to bluegrass and everything in between, individuals and groups can audition on Tuesday, August 16th at 7 PM at the Roxy Theatre.
Individual tickets are $32.50 plus tax each for both Hard Workin Men and Sweet Dreams. Individual tickets for the Johnny Cash tribute are $18 plus tax.
