It should be a busy day today at Owen Sound Golf and Country.
The 91 year old golf club will open for the first time since July 6th after maintenance crews were able to finish preparing the course yesterday.
In fact, staff were busy in the pro shop booking tee times after we reported a receiver had taken over operation of the course.
BDO Canada says paid up members can resume play for the balance of the season.
Members paying by instalments will be able to continue monthly payments and green fee play will be available as well.
Senior Vice President Bill Courage says they will start the sale process once the operations have started.
The clubhouse at Owen Sound Golf and Country will not re-open yet.
The course went bankrupt earlier this month with a 1.1 million dollar debt owed to the Bank of Montreal and the volunteer board of directors resigned last week.
There are several interested parties who want to purchase the Stanley Thompson designed course.
