The heatwave has now forced officials in Meaford and West Grey to issue a fire ban.
All open air burning has been banned and all burn permits issued by the municipality have been revoked.
The watering restrictions also continue in Saugeen Shores.
Residents on the municipal water system are asked to obey the new rules.
Those with odd municipal street numbers can water on odd days between 7 AM and 9 AM in the morning and 7 PM and 9 PM at night.
The rules are the same for even numbered houses on even days.
