South Bruce Peninsula Council has made several changes to parking fees at Sauble Beach.
Although the full-day pass remains at 10 to 15 dollars depending on the parking location, there are hourly rates of two or 3 dollars per hour.
Councillor Jay Kirkland wanted to cut the full-day pass charge, but is glad council came up with lower rates for short term visitors.
Along with the hourly rate for parking, there are weekly passes for 30 dollars.
For cottage owners or full-time residents there is a seasonal pass available for 50 dollars.
Kirkland says the seasonal pass is valid for two vehicles from the same household and can be purchased at the Town Hall, Bluewater Park campground, Sauble Beach Information centre, Fretz Valu Mart and Lakeside Home Hardware.
