Don’t be surprised to hear sirens from the Bruce nuclear generating station on Wednesday.
Bruce Power will test its nuclear emergency public alerting sirens.
All 10 sirens located within three kilometres of Bruce Power will operate simultaneously for about two minutes from 10 AM to 11 AM on Wednesday.
The sirens are part of the communication system used by Bruce Power to notify residents within three kilometres of the nuclear station of any emergency.
