The line-up for this year’s Summerfolk music festival in Owen Sound is set.
Artistic Director Richard Knechtel says he sifted through thousands of performers to come up with 55 that will play on eight different stages throughout the weekend.
Some acts are local and some are international.
The Arrogant Worms will be coming back this year, and Knechtel is excited about CBC radio host Lorne Elliot and The Little Stevies from Australia performing.
The weekend is packed with musical performances, but Knechtel says they’ll also have folk dance sessions, workshop performances and the musical petting zoo.
The Artisan Village has about 40 vendors this year with one of a kind jewellery and craft items.
Knechtel says the food vendors have also improved over the last three or four years, and there is a wide-selection of international food.
