The NDP in Bruce Grey Owen Sound have finalized the date for their nomination meeting.
It will be held on July 18th in the OPSEU office meeting room in Owen Sound, beginning at 7 PM.
At this point, two people are seeking the nomination in the riding — Karen Gventer and Paul Johnstone.
Johnstone is the head of the local jail workers union and Gventer has run twice for the NDP federally in the riding.
Nominations remain open until 10 days before the meeting, so there could be more nominees by the time they meet next month.
The NDP nomination meeting for Bruce Grey Owen Sound, will feature guest speaker, NDP MPP Peter Kormos from Welland.
