Theres a new face at the helm of the Hanover and District Hospital Board.
Retired RCMP Officer and Indian Affairs Consultant Brad Holman has taken over the reins.
He currently works for a private security firm in Barrie – but resides just outside of Hanover.
Holman was acclaimed to the position, replacing past chair Allan Fisher.
Holman says hes very excited about his new role and looks forward to the year ahead.
He notes that health care system is under severe financial restraints and he wants to be sure that the Hospital Board is proactive and strategic with its decisions so it can embrace change rather than have change forced upon it.
Holman challenged each Board of Director to take some time this summer identifying which direction they would like to see the Hospital go in come the Fall.
He says the winds of change may be in the air and its important Board Members are prepared and not caught off guard.
Holman has spent the last 4 years on the Hanover and District Hospital Board.
