An 18 month conditional sentence has been handed to a Mount Forest woman who defrauded Wescast Industries of Wingham of near half of a million dollars.
Yvonne DeBruyn-Bramhill was given house arrest in her sentencing appearance in a Goderich Court.
DeBruyn-Bramhill will be able to go to work, attend appointments and go to counselling sessions while serving the 18 month sentence.
She was convicted Wednesday on a charge of fraud over five-thousand dollars.
A repayment schedule for the 431-thousand dollars she took from Wescast is already under way.
DeBruyn-Bramhill was head of corporate finances for Wescast from 2003 to 2008.
