Home sales in the area in May are flat compared to what they were in April, with the number of house sales unchanged — but well below the 2010 level.
The Realtors Association of Grey Bruce Owen Sound (RAGBOS) says that home sales in May fell.
Last month sales numbered 203 units about 16 per cent from the same month last year.
Just over 226 thousand dollars was the average cost of a home in the month of May which was up almost 14 thousand dollars compared to April.
Compared to last year the Associations MLS listings jumped 19 per cent, the second highest peak next to May 1997.
The dollar value of all home sales in May was 46 million dollars, falling 16 per cent from a year ago.
