Qualified charities in Grey and Bruce counties will receive funding today from the Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
Executive Director Roberta Brignell says the foundation has a record amount of grant money to distribute this year.
Applications had to be filed in May and over 40 charities requested funding in the amount of 35 thousand dollars.
As well charities who hold a Fund with the Foundation will receive 82 thousand dollars for a total of 117 thousand dollars being distributed in the communities.
Details will be announced at the annual general meeting of the Community Foundation Grey Bruce.
The session is at Waterview On the Bay Resort in Wiarton, beginning at 5 PM with a meet and greet.
The grant presentations are at 7 PM.
