The chair of the Board of management has resigned from the Owen Sound Downtown Improvement Area.
Sue Carleton is leaving due to family obligations.
In a news release on Tuesday — Carleton says it is with regret she has to leave, but she knows the DIA will continue to move forward positively.
Sue Carleton has served several terms on the OS-DIA Board of Management, originally as Treasurer as well as sitting on the Promotions Committee.
She was also the representative for the Festival of Northern Lights Committee as well as to the City of Owen Sounds Economic Development Committee.
Vice Chair of the Owen Sound DIA Rodney Rodger will take over now as the new Chair.
There are currently four Director positions vacant on the Board of Management.
Applications are being accepted at the Downtown Improvement Area office on 2nd Avenue East in Owen Sound.
