Justin Trudeau, Jackson Katz and Lieutenant Colonel David Grossman are all speaking at Kincardine District Secondary School.
They join the list of authors and speakers the school lined-up for the “Today’s Kids. Tomorrow’s Village” symposium, happening today and tomorrow.
Speaking today is Grossman, who’s an internationally recognized scholar, speaker, author and soldier who specializes in the psychology of killing.
His lecture is followed by Justin Trudeau’s presentation at 7 PM, where more than 800 people are expected to pack in KDSS’s gymnasium.
Friday, renowned anti-sexist male activist Jackson Katz is the guest speaker.
The two day symposium was born from an idea a keen group of teachers and administrators had.
The organizing group wants students to think about their upbringing in a true village community and choices they need to make as future parents within their future village or community.
