Three people have been rescued from a capsized six metre boat in Lake Huron, a kilometre west of Kincardine.
The Joint Rescue Co-ordination Centre at CFB Trenton says a United States Coast Guard helicopter, a Canadian Coast Guard vessel and a police boat responded to a distress signal on Wednesday morning.
The boat — being used by contractors hired by the Bruce Nuclear generating station — began taking on water.
The contractors were doing some scientific work.
The boat has since gone under.
