It was a good weekend for our Cops for Cancer campaign in Grey Bruce.
About 12 thousand dollars was raised during Sunday’s shave off in Meaford.
The Sauble Golf and Country club also hosted an event and raised almost 25 hundred dollars.
About 26 thousand dollars was raised Saturday in the big Owen Sound shave off at Boston Pizza.
Well over 100 thousand dollars has now been raised in this year’s campaign.
The goal this year is 185 thousand dollars — and the money will go to cancer research and to support families who are dealing with cancer.
