This is Tourism Week in Ontario — and officials from Bruce and Grey Counties kicked off Tourism Week in Toronto on the weekend.
Staff from Bruce and Grey Counties were at Dundas Square in Toronto on the weekend with interactive displays, demonstrations and prizing.
Bruce County showcased Wiarton Willie while Grey County hosted a virtual cycling tour.
Staff from Blue Mountains Resort promoted the Ridge Runner — its new mountain coaster — and the expanded Apple Pie Trail.
Stats show the tourism industry contributes 467 million dollars to the Grey Bruce economy — and employs about 49 hundred people.
