The cleanup continues in Bruce County after this weekend’s severe thunderstorms caused extensive damage.
South Bruce OPP report they have seen downed trees and hydro poles and hydro lines in North Bruce and near the town of Paisley .
There are also barns in the Chesley area that were destroyed by Saturday morning’s severe thunderstorms.
Police say some roads are physically impassable because of debris on the roads and motorists in the area are encouraged to slow down.
Several Bruce County homes also experienced flooding from Saturday morning’s storms.
No one was seriously hurt.
Bayshore Broadcasting News has talked to several residents who say they spotted water spouts and funnel clouds during the storm.
But Environment Canada has not confirmed whether a tornado touched down on Saturday morning.
The severe storms also knocked out electricity to about 15 thousand homes across Grey Bruce, mainly in the Port Elgin and Kincardine areas.
