The fourth annual Safe N Sound ” Bringing it Home Concert” will be held tonight at the Keady Community Centre.
It’s a fundraiser for the Safe N Sound homeless resource centre.
Community Support Co-ordinator Richard Suchow says there will be lots of music, a silent auction as well as a late lunch.
This year’s event features the Band “OUTSKIRTS” and a new young local group called “The Sound” will open the concert.
There are also shuttle services for tonight’s concert.
Suchow says all proceeds will go to Safe and Sound to help its resource centre.
Suchow notes their space provides services for people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless.
But he says they also help people who just need help and they also educate residents about the challenges of homelessness.
The concert begins at 8 PM tonight at the Keady Community Centre.
Tickets are available at the Down Town Book Store, Molly’s Just Teasin” and the Safe N Sound Homelessness Initiative.
