The Bluewater District School Board is holding another budget meeting tonight for the upcoming fiscal year.
The Business Committee says the deficit stands at over four million dollars.
Chair Dan Wong says they’ll be looking for suggestions and comments from all stakeholders at tonight’s meeting.
It begins at 7 PM at Hillcrest Elementary School in Owen Sound.
Wong says a presentation will be given on the education ministry funding formula and the challenges facing trustees in setting the new budget.
He says they’re facing a critical shortfall in money and they need suggestions as to what can be done to balance the budget.
Wong admits they know they have some tough decisions ahead.
